Pause & Identify Starting Points

  • What prompts you to have a conversation with this person? Hurtful comment? Behavior? High stakes topic?
  • Would you be helped if the other person heard and appreciated your story?
  • Would you benefit if you could learn more about his/her interests, facts, ideas?
